This Sinulog 2009 is so exciting for me because for the first time in my long involvement as volunteer in Sinulog Foundation, i am going to actually dance the Sinulog on stage!
And as a surfer, i am so honored because i will portray the role of a chief hawaiian warrior and be performing a short synchronized fire poi spinning with 40 of Cebu's best fire dancers during the middle part of Sinulog Grand Finale's polynesian inspired theme.
A super grand production with over 200 dancers on stage with no less than reigning Ms. Earth - Karla Paula Henry (a Cebuana) as the hawaiian princess.
I can already feel the mana and hope this will inspire me to surf more like a true hawaiian warrior!
