Suluan Island's Blue Hole

This is Suluan Island's Blue Hole we renamed Cauldron. Took us an hour of snorkeling to locate the site last August.  This area usually have big waves. Suluan Island's Pacific side is what international surfers called the Secret Spot! Really amazing place both topside and underwater. Suluan is a small island in the Philippines, in the province of Eastern Samar. It lies east of Leyte Gulf, near Homonhon Island and Calicoan Island. It was the first ever landing place of Ferdinand Magellan's Armada after their 98 days Pacific crossing.
